Episode 12........SDCC maybe next year???

Dave and I declare the intentions of the podcast, sorta. We announce that for those who didn't know, we are a news and review show.
Dave discusses the President's Veto on a Genetic Technology bill. We talk about the possible return in some form of TechTv.
I talked about one of the biggest DVD release announcements that I can remember over the past year or so. All I have to say is NARF! and HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLO NURSE!
We go over a few Highlights of the San Diego Comicon (Like we
weren't going to mention it) brought to us by Newsarama and the guys at ifanboy.com. And Dave does a page by page review of Marvel Civil War issue three, it was a good one.

Once again thanks to all our fans for listening. Tell your friends, tell your family, tell your nieghbors. Post it on your blog. Spread the word.

And if you want to tell us that you did all that, or anything else you have on your mind send us a message.

Thanks for the listening to the show, Chris. I read that one of the projects Warner Brothers is working on is Superman/Doomsday. It is my understanding Bruce Timm is lending his knowledge of animation production (earned through twelve years of projects with DC superheroes) to a series of direct to video animations. I have read in the past that he personally is not a fan of the Death of Superman comic books nor the character of Doomsday. I don't think these future projects are going to be like the work Bruce Timm has done in the past. From what I understand WB is looking to develop a new style. Personally, I hate to see the BT era of superhero animation come to an end. "All good things...," I guess. Still with BT still participating in these future projects, I am excited about them. Thanks again for listening and if you really liked our show tell your friends about it. I think we are getting better after every show, but you tell us.

We try to do that show at a regular guy level. Obviously, we are not trained journalists. We do the show to pass on different perspectives on different topics.

I was a big fan of Dexter's Laboratory and I will admit I have watched a couple episodes of the Powerpuff Girls. Those shows and Bruce Timm's present an animated Jack Kirby style that is very nice to look at. Some of the backgrounds of Dexter’s lab look like they could have been pulled out of the New Gods. A little sharper in places, some anime mixed in there, and a Neil Adams influence (on the original Batman TAS episodes).

Justice League Unlimited Season One Box Set comes out at the end of October. I'm psyched and you can expect me to talk about it on the show.

Bruce Timm at the gym? That’s awesome!

Chris,
Thanks for the comments. Its great getting feedback on the show but getting it from someone in the business is great. If you have anything you can tell us about what we have said or any inaccuracies please let us know. Like Dave said we are not pros. We do this for fun and to get the word out about things we think need to be talked about. Any help would be appreciated.

Oh and my cousin would love to see my name in the credits to an episode of Sponge Bob or something. I could play a rock or something. JK...sorta. thanks again for listening
